In 2016 I read 9 books:
- How to Win Friends & Influence People
- Rework
- Never Eat Alone, Expanded and Updated: And Other Secrets to Success, One Relationship at a Time
- The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine
- Zero to One: Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future
- Foundation
- Pandora's Star (The Commonwealth Saga Book 1)
- Judas Unchained (The Commonwealth Saga Book 2)
- Concrete Planet: The Strange and Fascinating Story of the World's Most Common Man-Made Material
If you’re a science fiction fan, I highly recommend the two books by Peter Hamilton - “Pandora’s Star” and “Judas Unchained”. They were my favorite books this year. While they’re quite long, at about 1000 pages each, by the end you’ll think they were too short. They’re an excellent mix of science, mistery, unexpected, and action.
Currently, I’m reading a book about cities and the impact they had and have:
